Terms and Conditions

1. The Site

1.1 www.skinphilosophy.co.uk (hereinafter the Site) is operated by Skin Philosophy Ltd.  (hereinafter we and us).

 1.2 The terms contained in this document (Terms and Conditions) apply to all transactions for the purchase of products from the Site.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before ordering from the Site. By ordering any products from the Site you are indicating your acceptance to be bound by these Trading Terms. They form a legal agreement between you and us and can only be amended with our consent. You can print a copy of these Terms and Conditions by selecting the print option from the “File” menu of your browser.

 1.3 Your use of the Site itself is subject to our website Terms of Use.

 1.4 We reserve the right to change these Terms and Conditions from time to time without prior notice by changing them on the Site, provided that any such change will not affect any purchases you have made before the change is implemented.

1.5 We have used our best endeavours to ensure that the content of this website is both accurate and reliable. We accept no responsibility or> liability for any loss or damage which may arise as a result of your reliance upon information, advice, prices or product descriptions contained within this website.

2. Ordering

2.1 You may place an order to purchase a product advertised for sale on the Site by following the onscreen prompts after clicking on the item you are interested in. You will have an opportunity to check and correct any input errors in your order up until the point at which you submit your order by clicking the “Pay now” button on the payment and delivery page.

2.2 All orders placed by you are subject to acceptance by us. We may choose not to accept your order for any reason and will not be liable to you or to anyone else in those circumstances.

2.3 Orders must be despatched to the payment address.

3. Prices and payment

3.1 The prices of products advertised for sale on the Site are as set out on the Site. All prices are in pounds (£) sterling, inclusive of VAT.

3.2 Prices may change at any time prior to (but not after) acceptance of your order.

3.3 All prices quoted on this site are subject to confirmation at the time of purchase.

3.4 We cannot accept your order until you have paid for it in full. Payment can be made by most major credit or debit cards, by completing the relevant details on the checkout page (although for certain age-restricted products only a credit card may be used). We do not accept credit/debit cards where the address registered with the card issuer for the statement is outside the United Kingdom.

 3.5 By using a credit/debit card to pay for your order, you confirm that the card being used is yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment we will not accept your order, we will not be obliged to inform you of the reason for the refusal, and we will not be liable for non-delivery. We are not responsible for your card issuer or bank charging you as a result of our processing of your credit/debit card payment in accordance with your order.

3.6 In the unlikely event that the price of an item has been incorrectly advertised on the Site, we will contact you by email or telephone to ask whether you wish to proceed with the order at the correct price. If you are not happy to proceed, or we are unable to obtain your instructions, we will cancel the order. Unless we have already confirmed despatch of your order, we will not be obliged to supply products at the incorrect price.

3.7 We accept no liability for any errors or omissions in pricing or product description. Whilst we endeavour to maintain our stock lists accurately there may be instances where an item is temporarily out of stock, in this instance you will be contacted within 24 hours and offered an alternative product,> refund or estimated delivery date.

RETURN POLICY

Skin Philosophy Ltd is committed to providing you with quality products that meet your skincare needs  and excellent customer service. It is our hope that you are satisfied with your Skin Philosophy skincare products; however, you may request a refund or exchange for any purchased product if you experience skin sensitivities. For product pre-orders and regular product orders, you may request a refund or exchange within 30 days of the date your product is delivered to the shipping address provided by you. We do not have the ability to provide a refund for products that are pre-ordered until after the date of product delivery. If your product was damaged in transit, you may request, within 30 days of the date of product delivery, that the damaged product be replaced.  

To make any of the above requests, please send an email to info@skinphilosophy.co.uk detailing the order number and the product for which you would like a refund or exchange, along with a description of your concern or complaint. Upon receipt of your request, Skin Philosophy LTD will make a determination, in its reasonable discretion, whether a product claimed to be damaged or defective was actually damaged or defective when originally delivered to you and used as intended. Requests for refunds and exchanges will be reviewed and determined on a case by case basis. Company reserves the right, in its reasonable discretion, to refuse to refund or exchange any product.

1. OUR RETURNS POLICY

If you are a customer in the European Economic Area (EEA), you get 28 calendar days to cancel your order because you have changed your mind. This cancellation period starts from the day you have received all of the items in your order. Find out how to return your item(s) at number 4.

If you receive faulty goods, you may also have a right to return these goods and to ask us to repair or replace them or get a refund.

• Items must be returned within 28 days of receipt.

• Items must be unopened

• Items must have all tags attached.

2. FAULTY GOODS

We’re really sorry to hear that you’ve received an item that’s not in perfect condition. So that we can get this fixed for you please head over to our Contact Us section.

To help us get this fixed for you ASAP, when you first contact us please include the following information;

  • -Order number
  • -Product name and code
  • -Picture of the fault
  • -Description of the fault

(The product name and code can be found on your order confirmation email).

If you contact us via the ‘Contact Us’ form please have an image of the faulty item ready for when you receive a reply as you won’t be able to attach the image on the form just yet.

3. CANCELLING A CONTRACT UNDER THE CONSUMER CONTRACTS REGULATIONS

If you’re a customer in the EEA, you get 14 days to cancel your contract with us

This two week period starts from the day after you receive your order (or from the day after you receive the last item of your order). You’ll need to write to us with notice of your cancellation – just fill out this form where you’ll also find details on how to return your item(s).

There are a couple of other ways to cancel your contract with us. You’ll find these alternative methods below:

If you’re cancelling your contract with us but have already received your order, you’ll need to return the item(s) to us, see how to do this below. You’ll then receive a full refund as per the policy above.

All returns are quality checked – items should be returned in a new and unused condition with labels attached and wherever possible sent back in the original packaging. Refunds will not be given if they do not comply with our returns policy.

RETURN & EXCHANGE PROCESS

1. Initiate a return or exchange 

If you would like to return or exchange an item purchased online, please contact Customer Care to initiate your return/exchange via email at info@skinphilosophy.co.uk. Our team will be happy to assist you with returns that meet our policy requirements and/or to provide a recommendation on products for an exchange. Be sure to contact our Customer Care team before you send in a return or exchange. Skin Philosophy ltd is not responsible for returns lost in transit that have not been communicated to Customer Care.

2.  Pack your return & ship

Please safely pack the product(s) along with your completed return form. Affix the return label to the box and ship it back to us by bringing your package to the carrier indicated on the return label. Unfortunately at this time we are not able to provide prepaid return shipping labels for domestic or international orders. We appreciate your understanding.
